We did it! The first year of life is behind us. I can't wait to see what his second year of life brings us.
*EATING* - We're done. Done with formula, done with breast milk, done with almond milk, done with coconut milk, and done with bottles. He's fully on sippy cups of whole milk now. We transitioned slowly but now we're done. He still eats everything and anything we put in front of him. Now he's a real toddler and just eats like a toddler should. He's also starting to figure out utensils and what they're for.
*SLEEPING* - Same old story. He sleeps through the night (barring a bad night with teething every once in a while) and takes 1 or 2 naps a day depending on their length and location. He knows his crib is for sleeping and he puts up very little fuss when he goes there. The only new thing is that I have bought him a pillow now and he loves it.
*ACTIVITY / MILESTONES* - Nothing really to add to this. He's getting sturdier on his feet now. He uses his walker almost constantly. He is slowly being able to stand without holding onto anything and he sometimes will take one step if I really encourage him. However, no real signs of walking yet. I don't think he will for another month or so, but I could be wrong.
*CLOTHING* - He's all over the place here. I pulled out last years bathing suit and for haha's tried it on him and the shorts that were 3-6 month size fit him perfectly!! He has no waist!! He wears a lot of 6-9 month pants and some 12 month although most of his 12 month pants are to big around and fall off. His shirts are almost all 12 month size. We still have some 6-9 that fit but most are to short now. 18 month looks big and baggy on him so I put them away for a little longer. Diapers are still size 4.
*TEETH* - We are up to FIVE teeth now. Two on the top and three on the bottom.
See him at one week, one month, two months, three months, four months, five months, six months, seven months, eight months, nine months, ten months, and eleven months.
