The party was fantastic! The weather was gorgeous and it was soo nice to see friends and family! Enjoy this picture heavy post!!
(Enjoy this look at the cake in one piece. It's the only look you'll get at it. Major props to my mother-in-law for making it!!)
(The timeline I made. Miranda is on top, going by years. Elliott is on the bottom going by months.)
Blowing out the candles.
We gave Elliott the whole top part of his cake. Here he is debating pizza or cake...
Cake FTW!
NOM!!
Let's bring this plate a little closer ...
So good!
I think you got a little something on your face ....
Cake destruction! It's even in his toes ...
Getting full.
All done. Going to get a bath.
Also, I love my father-in-law's facial expression in this picture. Says it all.
Here is our beautiful birthday girl as well! Doing an excellent, not so messy job with her piece of cake.
Opening one of her many, many excellent gifts!
And, one last picture of Elliott. Post tub, all clean, enjoying a fuzzy Elmo card.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute cakes (and cute kids)
How close are their birthdays? my oldest and younest are 2 weeks apart. I always think about joint parties, but have never done it
Thank you Kimberly! My mother in law made the cakes. She's fantastic! Their birthdays are 11 days apart. A joint party just made more sense to me. When they get older and have their separate groups of friends I'll do a joint family party and let them have smaller, separate friend parties.
DeleteThat is one messy baby!! Great pictures! And looks like he enjoyed if
ReplyDeleteThank you Emmy! He was dyed slightly pink for a day or so. It was insane. Luckily, I didn't have to bathe him afterwards. My step mom volunteered to do that!
