Are you kidding me?? My child is going to be one year old in a MONTH? How is this happening to me??
*EATING* - There is nothing this child doesn't eat. I've been trying to decrease his bottles lately and up his solid food intake. I think it's working. He only drinks a max of 20oz of formula a day. (We're all out of donated breast milk.) Usually less than that. I've started incorporating sippy cups of coconut milk, almond milk and water into his daily routine as well. He absolutely adores almond milk. He chugs it down with gusto! I'm not quite ready to dip into the whole milk scene yet. At 12 months I think I'll start doing a half and half mixture of whole milk and either his coconut milk or almond milk. Either way, I anticipate that I will be done with bottles and formula by his first birthday. Just like I was with Miranda!
*SLEEPING* - He's been so amazing in this department lately! He sleeps through the night every night, except for maybe once or twice this month he got up once in the middle of the night. No big deal though. He's usually in bed with Miranda. He goes down with such ease, it's really nice.
For naps, we're still taking two most days, sometimes only one. On Tuesday he only slept for 15 minutes during the day! He was awake the rest of the day until bedtime. Yikes! As long as we're home and able to though, he sleeps just fine in his crib and takes long daytime snoozes.
*ACTIVITY / MILESTONES* - We're making big strides in this department now too! He can get himself into a sitting position at any point in time now, not only with the help on an object. I'm pretty sure he could do this at the time of the last update too, I just forgot to say so. He still army crawls more often than not, but he does hands & knees crawl now!! Mostly outside he will legit crawl and inside he still mostly army crawls. He does do it inside now too though. He is a super cruising pro now and has stood unsupported a couple times! It's only for a couple seconds, but it's still super cool to see! He cruises up and down the couches all day and has started to get braver about letting go while going in between them. He might be walking sooner rather than later, which I'm pretty upset about. We've been going to the park a lot lately and he sees all the other big kids running around, I think he's starting to want to copy them. It's pretty neat to see the wheels turning in his mind about it all.
As far as talking or signing, we're making slow progress with it. He can now sign EAT and he does, almost all day. He waves now, head butts, high fives and gives 'kisses'. No words yet though. Lots of noises and babbling though. His fine motor skills are going along great. I've never mentioned them before but he's been using the pincer grasp for a couple months now. He can pick up tiny items and feed them to himself.
*CLOTHING* - He's beginning to outgrow some 6-9 month items. Mostly long sleeved onesies. Some of his 12 month undershirts are getting short in the sleeves, but fit fine everywhere else. Pants he still fits great in 6-9 month. We put 12 month pants on him though and they usually fall off pretty easily and are to long. However, I refuse to buy more 6-9 month pants at this age. I have to go out and get him a bigger summer wardrobe. He has no shorts. Pajamas are still all 12 month size. Diapers are size 4 and probably will be for a while. I've had to resort to buying a package of overnights though, because he started leaking at night. They work awesome though!
*TEETH* - THREE! We're up to three teeth now! One of his top incisors finally poked through. The other one is right behind it but he is such a slow teether, who knows how long it will be before it is out.

See him at one week, one month, two months, three months, four months, five months, six months, seven months, eight months, nine months and ten months.
