Okay, so it has been a while since I updated.
Elliott is eighteen months now. Miranda is five and a half. Both kids are doing really, really well. Elliott is a gigantic ball of energy. He talks so much now, it's crazy. Everyday he pops out more and more new words. His favorite word is of course, NO, which is such a bummer for me.
Miranda loves school and is doing really well. She has only been in trouble once! She has never missed a day of school, despite a cold she had a few weeks ago. I just give her medicine and send her anyway. She does her homework everyday and she is now reading a lot! She can read very simple words and is working on math and writing. She can write her entire name, first, middle and last. It's pretty exciting. She hasn't lost any more teeth, just her bottom two that I already updated about. She also recently joined the Girl Scouts which she is super excited about.
The house is awesome as always. I still have moments where it hits me that we own a friggin' house and I get overwhelmed with happiness! We've been working on the yard a lot lately. Lots and lots and lots of raking! It was Adam's birthday this weekend though and he received a leaf blower which is AWESOME! Yesterday I planted my daffodil bulbs. Our Halloween decorations are all up. Adam even decided to build a life-sized coffin which came out really cool.
All our pets are doing good as well. Maverick is happy to have a yard to play in. He loves his next door neighbor pals and often goes to the dog park with them. Scarlett has adjusted and is eating like a champ these days. No more relocation stress. Jayne is probably having the hardest time of them all. He's a bit more secluded upstairs then he used to be at the apartment. His temps have been getting really low at night so we finally broke down and bought him a ceramic heat emitter. He's not eating his veggies like at all, but loves his bugs. I bought him a prepackaged bearded dragon food that I give him the smallest amount of. He doesn't really eat that either though. I don't really know, but we'll keep working with him.
Here's the random pictures I have available on my Flickr...I put a bunch more up on Facebook though.
