Status quo

Things are pretty stable here, which is a very happy thing for me to report. We've been doing lots of playing and hanging out with friends lately. I did some major cleaning of the house earlier in the week. Elliott has been doing well but he's a little fussy. I think it's because he's getting ready to make a development jump. He's starting to really grab at toys and bring items in his hands to his mouth. He finds his hands and feet fascinating. I also think he'll be proficient in rolling in both directions soon. He's awesome at belly to back and is *almost* there for back to belly. He still nurses a lot but he can go longer between feedings when he chooses to.

The biggest thing that confuses me about him is that he has days where he is super fussy, nothing soothes him and he just doesn't want to go to sleep. Yet, come night time once he is asleep (sometimes after a long two hour twenty minute battle like last night) he's down for the count. He normally sleeps 9-6 but sometimes goes a little longer and occasionally has one wake up at 2:30 or so for a quick nursing. I am in NO way complaining. It's awesome, believe me. It just confuses me.

This weekend we have a birthday party to go to and then on Monday is Elliott's 4 month appointment. I'm pretty excited to see what he weighs and what not. He seems like a very big boy to me, but you never know. I'm guessing he's around 15 - 16 pounds or so but I could be wrong.

  5. Thank you Penelope, Lexie Lane, Victoria and Jeanne.

Unfortunately, he fooled me and he only weighs 14 pounds. Oh well, can't win them all. (I guessed his one month weight EXACTLY.)

Thank you all for stopping by! <3
