Good day

Today was a really good day for my children! Elliott was really happy and content for most of it. Had a couple fussy times, in the car and at the restaurant. Otherwise he was really quiet and happy to be in the Beco walking around Target, Toys 'R Us and Stew Leonard's. We went out to Target to buy some birthday presents and a few little items I needed to pick up. I'm expecting a shipment of super worms tomorrow from Mulberry Farms so I needed to pick up some fresh oatmeal to put them in.

While at Target, Auntie Nicole bought Miranda a new baby doll. One that makes noises such as crying, laughing and it drinks a bottle (only because I wouldn't spend the money on the new breastfeeding baby doll). It even says 'Mama'. Well, Miranda is *obsessed* with this baby doll now. It doesn't have a set name yet but I'll let you know when/if it does. At Toys 'R Us I found a bag of baby doll accessories that I bought with some cash I got from Once Upon A Child.

Stew Leonard's was a pretty neat experience. Nicole treated us to some delicious ice cream and we walked around and checked out the sites. A very cool place indeed.

The kids both went to bed easily, without a hitch and on time tonight. Yay! Last night Elliott cried at 2:30 so I went and brought him into bed with me. One good thing about Adam being away is that I can bring Elliott into bed with me and feel like he's safe. Adam is such a heavy sleeper that he makes me WAY to nervous to bring a baby into bed with him there. Elliott didn't even nurse for 5 minutes before he was fast asleep again and that's where he stayed for the rest of the night.

Let's hope he can make it the whole night in his crib tonight.
