Today is right in between my 14th and 15th week of pregnancy. I didn't update last Saturday so I thought I'd just combine these two weeks together. So far, so good. I feel pretty good most of the time. I have my moments where I feel like complete and utter crap though. I get headaches pretty frequently which is unusual for me. I blame the cutting back on my caffeine intake. I'm just now starting to *feel* pregnant. My belly is sore from the changes that are starting to happen. I think I'm finally starting to show a bit. I'll try and take a belly picture, like I've been promising since I announced my pregnancy. I'm still feeling fatigued, but I think it's because I get anemic during my pregnancies. I think the doctor will prescribe me extra iron at my next visit. I think that will help. I can still button my jeans and wear them comfortably, as long as I'm standing. As soon as I sit down though, they feel tight and uncomfortable. During the day, I mostly just wear sweats or pajama pants though. I can feel tiny flutters at night sometimes if I'm really concentrating on it. What a sweet feeling that is!
We've shown everyone the ultrasound pictures. The family is starting to get pretty excited about the new family member, which is nice. It's really nice to be experiencing the entire pregnancy up in Connecticut where we belong rather than 1000 miles away from everyone I love and care about. Miranda is super excited about having a little sibling! She just can not wait for this little one to arrive. I, however, would like this pregnancy to go by SLOWLY! We have a lot of stuff to do to prepare for this little one and we probably won't start to do anything until after the holidays.
Well, I think that's about it. I'm really thinking it's a boy this time around and that makes me extremely excited! We've decided we will definitely be finding out the gender at our next ultrasound so keep an eye out for that update.
