Super Bowl Weekend

Adam, Miranda and I had a great weekend here. It was the first weekend I've had my child for the time in a while. Saturday morning, Adam went ice fishing. Miranda and I stayed home and watched cartoons. When he came home, we decided to do some tidying up. Adam tried to get Miranda to do a craft with him but she got bored quickly. It ended up being a Valentine for me. Very cute! Later that night we had dinner plans with Adam's brother and his girlfriend. They wanted us to go out to a hibachi with them. Adam and I love hibachis! Miranda is still a bit iffy about them. She likes the food and the chef's performance but she doesn't like the big fire flare-ups. She hides her face a lot when we go. After dinner, Adam was going to go out to the auto show but it was a little too late by the time we got Miranda home and in bed.

Sunday, of course, was the Super Bowl! We did some more tidying up and then Adam went and returned cans down at the grocery store. After Miranda's nap we headed over to Tom's house. There was so much good food there! All three of us had a really great time. Miranda had a great time following Sherri's nephew around who is 3 years older than she is. We bet over squares and Adam ended up winning the entire pot of $50! I was happy that the Saints won at the end as well. I feel that New Orleans deserved that. I do not want to know how crazy this week is going to be down there though. Yikes! I hope everyone stays safe and out of harms way.
