Six Flags ... More Rain. Less Fun.

We woke up early, prepped and packed up for an entire day out at Six Flags New England! We had plans to meet up with a friend so we could take turns going on the 'big kid' rides and water slides. We got there around 10:30 or so and it was sprinkling on and off. We knew there were chances of a few storms here and there but we were hopeful they'd be short, infrequent and would keep the crowds down. It did keep the crowds down but one point in the afternoon the heavy rain came and didn't go away. We took shelter in a store for a little bit but decided that it was just time to call it a day.

The kids and us got to go on some kiddie rides, we met some super heroes, watched an awesome bird show and we had a good lunch. So, the day wasn't a complete waste. I was a little bummed it didn't last longer but it is was it is. The kids took a nice long nap on the way home.
