The Living Room

Wow, between Facebook and the comments here, I have been feeling very loved by you guys! Thank you so much for your support and your nice comments. Keep them coming!

Here is the living room as you walk in from the dining room. I kept the front door closed for this picture, but I have another like it with the front door open. We actually don't use this door to come in and out as much as we'd like. The storm door is broken and we need a new one. 

Here is looking straight in from the dining room. The curtains my mom made us from our sliding glass door curtain. We don't have tie backs currently, so I usually just not them up in the middle. You can see the TV above the fireplace and our laptops live here for now. Eventually, we'll have an office space upstairs where they will live.

Here is Quinne's curio, surrounded by pictures of her siblings. We have a bookshelf full of DVDs and some other miscellaneous items. We also kept the fish pillow, of course! You can also peek into the hallway. That closet you see houses my cleaning supplies, reusable grocery bags and some board games.

Here is a straight-on shot of the TV and fireplace. Yes, that is an empty vacuum box in there. It's to keep Elliott out of there until we can afford a proper front for it. 

As you can see...we had to figure out something the hard way. >.<
