Baby-wearing at the outlets
On Monday Nicole and I took the kids down by the shore. We did a lot of outlet shopping and we even stopped at the beach. Miranda has been to the beach loads of times, however, I can not particularly remember her very first time touching the water. This makes me sad, maybe someday I'll remember when Miranda first touched the ocean.
Now, I do have to add that *technically* Connecticut doesn't touch the Atlantic Ocean. It touches the Long Island Sound, but I still consider it the ocean. It's all the same thing to me.
Anyway, the kids loved it. I expected no less. Miranda has always loved it and Elliott loves sand, water and getting dirty so I was just about positive that he'd love it. We did like to joke that because we play ocean waves for him at night, that he'd fall asleep at the beach, but clearly that didn't happen.
We only stayed for a short time because we had places to go, but it was fun to stop. I am really looking forward to going more this summer. They are both really going to love the pools and beaches and fun excursions we take.
What are you looking forward to this summer? Do your kids like the beach?

My oldest two love the beach- my youngest still isn't so sure about it. Very cute pictures. Sounds like such a great day
