Hot Summer Days

I spent the last week or so staying at my best friend's house. My apartment doesn't cool very well and it just gets hot and miserable there, especially during weeks where it's supposed to be in the 90's and extremely humid. Auntie has a wonderful working A/C and her condo has a pool that we can use when we get sick of being in the house. It's pretty awesome here. The best part is, is that I didn't have to pack much because she has bought a bunch of baby stuff for her house already. Between watching Miranda when she was a baby and the fact that she'll be watching her niece two days a week starting in August means that she has a pretty good supply of things for babies. We've been quite happy here and it's been nice to get out of my house for a while. I'm just afraid of the mess that I will return to when I get home. I'm going to have a lot of chores to keep me busy next week when Adam will be staying in New Hampshire. Miranda has adjusted well to staying here too. She's very used to being at Auntie's house and is comfortable here. She's only asked me once about going back home.
