Memorial Day

I know this is a little late (and I have no pictures since they're all on Nicole's camera) but our Memorial Day weekend was fantastic!! I forget what we did on Saturday, but Sunday we went over to Adam's grandparents house for an all day long party. It was awesome! Their house is HUGE and on a beautiful lake so there was swimming, fishing, sunning, and yummy food galore!!

Maverick came with us too and he swam, retrieved toys out of the water, ran around like a doof and played with the neighbor's dogs. He did pretty good for being off leash the majority of the day and I'm very thankful for the nice dog-friendly people partying it up next door.

Miranda had a terrific time being with family too. Everyone kept her occupied and she was so tired by the end of the night.

Elliott was passed around like he tends to be. Everyone loves holding him. He spent a lot of time in his bouncer however since I really wanted to be up and about.

Adam and I got a little sunburned but not too badly.

All in all, it was a fantastic day!

On Memorial Day Monday we went over to my dad's girlfriend's house. She had a nice BBQ party there for me and my brothers and my Aunt & Uncle. It's a very rare thing to get all of the kids together so it was really  nice to hang out with everyone. I see my dad and Lisa so rarely these days, it makes me happy to spend time with them.

Miranda even ended up falling asleep on Uncle Tom and when she was moved onto a blanket on the grass she stayed asleep. We were all still pretty wiped from Sunday's activities so I'm glad it was a low-key day.
