Family Picture Day

On Saturday, I had made an appointment to get pictures done at Sears. I had a good coupon for a small package so I thought I'd take advantage of that. I wanted to try a different studio anyway.

What a huge disappointment they were! Even though we had the whole place to ourselves for our entire photoshoot, I felt like the woman did not listen to us very well. She didn't work very hard to get good pictures. The pictures we have are only so-so. Afterwards it took over a half an hour to get the pictures uploaded and for her to do her photo editing. We sat around waiting way to much for my liking. It was just an awful experience overall. I don't think they give you a lot of pictures for the money you're spending and I just didn't enjoy anything about it. I think I'm going to become a photographer someday. I really, truly think I'd enjoy that career line. It would take some investment money though which we're pretty low on. I'd like to take some classes, I would need at least one new lens for my camera and I'd also have to upgrade it to a better model probably as soon as I possibly could.

If I could do that though and start my baby sign language classes I could have an income and be home with my kids most of the time. My heart just skipped a beat!

  1. We've never had great luck at our Sears either. I wonder how much training they get!
