I had my amnio done this morning. Everything went smoothly during that. Baby O looked great on the ultrasound! The technician was super cool and told me that #1 he's head down now and #2 he is definitely indeed a boy still. I was pretty relieved to hear the latter.
However, while we were waiting for my Rhogam shot to arrive, my doctor came in and gave me some pretty bad news. The preliminary tests for lung maturity were coming back negative. Not even borderline negative, just flat out negative. She said the final test results may come back different and I'm hoping, praying, crossing everything for that! We have everything all prepared for him to be born tomorrow! Time off from work, babysitting, everything!! I was really looking forward to holding him in my arms tomorrow! I'm very, very bummed out about it and will let you all know how the results come back tonight.
Aww sweetie I'll be praying that you are able to meet your baby boy tomorrow.
