Check out all the awesome new things on my blog! I changed the background to an Easter themed one and added a few about pages for those who are interested. Let me know what you think and I would love some constructive criticism on the about pages especially.
Things have been a little busy and crazy over here lately. Lots of nesting on my part, especially after my wicked awesome baby shower! I received tons of wonderful gifts from my family and friends and the decorations and food were out of this world. There was a great turn-out and everyone had a blast.
I have everything I need to bring home a baby now. I have diapers, clothes, boobs, a car seat and a place for him to sleep. The essentials! Haha! We don't have a coming-home outfit yet but if I don't find anything Adam and I love I'm sure we'll just use a sleeper or something comfy. It's not a huge deal in my mind.
Right now, the next big thing on my mind is Miranda's birthday party. We haven't done ANY planning yet and it's NEXT weekend. Yikes! The only thing I have is her gift. When Adam upgraded his Nintendo DS, he gave his old one to Miranda and we counted that as her 'big' present. So I just needed a couple of little things for her to open on the day. I bought a DS game and a little Polly Pocket pack. Nothing major, although finding the right video game was a little hard. I'm hoping for good weather since we're having the party at the house again this year. At least I have two weeks after the party to get the house back to order before Brother Bear (as I've started to call him) arrives. I'm not sure I'd be so willing to have the party here if he were coming the week after.
The three furries all have a vet appointment on April 1rst as well. It's time for their yearly check-ups. I still have to call and make Miranda's appointment for her 4 year check up as well. Plus the pediatrician has no idea that I'm pregnant again so I should probably let them know at some point.
Other than that, it's just sit and wait at this point. 20 more days until he comes. I can not wait. :)
