A Day of Love

We've had a pretty laid back week this week, which is really nice to have sometimes. I did some shopping with Nicole last week, and she spoiled Miranda like crazy. She bought Miranda a beta fish to keep in her room. The tank is super neat too! It lights up in all sorts of colors. Very cool. The fish is still adjusting I think as it doesn't eat much. It's been dubbed a 'she' even though it's a 'he' but that's not a big deal. It's name has already gone from Lizzie to Lilly. I'm sure it will keep changing too. It's all red, very pretty. If for whatever reason the beta fish doesn't work out we'll get a couple of tetras or something. We'll have to see though...Miranda is completely smitten and loves to feed her right before bed.

Yesterday was Valentine's Day and it was such a good day. I don't like putting to much pressure on Adam for such a silly holiday but he always comes through anyway. He made a delicious swordfish dinner with asparagus, rice and a side salad. He bought a small bottle of wine (my favorite kind) and I had a few sips from my half a glass before making him finish it. I gave him his present, a new CD case since the cats decided to pee on his other one. (Eww!) Miranda got a new LeapFrog DVD (one about number recognition since we're having the most trouble with that lately) and a new Valentine's shirt. Very cute. Adam got me a box of chocolates and roses but he gave them to me in a very sweet, romantic way which I will not share. The funniest thing was that we both wrote pretty much the same message in our cards to each other!! We had a good laugh about that and how we know each other too well. Hehehe!

As far as pregnancy updates, not much to report. I feel like I'm getting huge already and this kid still never stops moving. We found the perfect new curtains for the bedroom, trying to make it look more gender neutral and less like an all girl room. After a trip to Ikea I'll be able to start putting clothes away and getting the crib set up and what not. That will be fun! I can't wait! I have less than 8 weeks now until I hit 36 weeks. I have an appointment this Monday and my doctor says she'll set up my c-section date!! Very exciting!! Tomorrow I am going to get my Rhogam shot and take the 1 hour glucose test. Let's hope I pass it because I really do NOT want to take the 3 hour one.
