This is an awesome clip from Good Morning America. I think it has valuable information for everyone to hear! The only thing I, personally, would have changed/added would be that even though 4yo and 40lbs is the absolute minimum for booster use, most 4 year old kids are just not mature enough to sit in a booster properly the entire time. I am personally shooting to keep Miranda in a 5 point harness until she is closer to 6. I loved that they added all the information about the 5 step test as well. Once Miranda can pass that, I will let her ride without a booster seat.
As soon as I can, I want to upgrade Miranda's car seat from her Britax Marathon to a Graco Nautilus. If we had more money, I'd probably go with a Britax Frontier 85 instead but they are not cheap. I also like the fact that the Nautilus converts to a low-back booster which the Frontier does not. Here are some pictures of the two seats:

As far as Westley is concerned, I'm hoping to get a new infant seat that will get him to around a year in. After that I will upgrade him to a convertible seat that will allow him to rear-face until at least 3 years old, just like I did with Miranda. I am totally in love with a Graco Snugride 35 pattern. It's blue and cute and oh so plush. It looks really comfy. It even has a matching Graco Metrolite stroller available to purchase, which is just an added bonus. I love things to match. We desperately need a new stroller since Miranda's old Graco one is covered in mold from being in the garage through changes of seasons and when we accidentally forget to open the garage door when doing laundry. (The dryer vents into the garage.) I always hated that stroller anyway. Here's some pictures:

I'm not going to say for sure which convertible we'll switch him too after he outgrows the infant seat, but if for some reason we don't get the infant seat, I want to get a Graco MyRide 65. From what I hear, it fits newborns really well and it should get him to around 3 years old in it (rear-facing that is).

I could seriously talk about car seats all day though, but these are just a few of my car seat eye candy at the moment.
