We've been swimming every single day since Saturday. It's been way too hot here and the only good way to cool off is to hop in the water. I thought that today I'd talk about Miranda and her view on water at this stage in the game.
She's still very cautious around the water. As long as she has her swimmies she's okay to be in the water, no matter how deep. She refuses to jump into the water. She very rarely wants to try without her swimmies. She did it once in the very shallow end of a in-ground pool, and ended up going under for a second. Since then, she hasn't really wanted to try again. I can't wait until the day when she's ready to actually play in the water. Adam is part otter and can stay in the water all day. He can't wait to teach her how to dive and do everything that he knows how to do.
She'll get there, I know. For now, she's my cautious first born. Not ready to jump head first. Which, is okay with me. :)
