Miranda tries very hard to be independent and succeeds a good portion of the time.
Yesterday however...
Background: Miranda is potty-trained. She knows when she has to go and goes to the potty to go. We're in a transition phase, between the little potty chairs and the big potty upstairs. She's learning how to do the whole process on her own and she has some difficulties sometimes.
The Story: After dinner Miranda announced she had to go pee. Not unusual. She runs up the stairs, demanding that Adam and I stayed put. Also, not unusual. She's up there for a few minutes, we hear the flush and the water running and then she comes downstairs. She asked me something about a doo-da-dooer (a cardboard tube) but I wasn't sure what she was asking. She let it go though and moved on to something else.
Adam and her started playing hide-and-seek and Adam ran upstairs to hide in the bathroom (and pee in the process). He noticed the toilet was clogged. Why? Miranda put almost an entire roll of toilet paper in the toilet. Just to get to the cardboard tube. I just changed the roll yesterday and only Miranda and I were home all last night and today... Ugh...
So, we had a little lesson on how much toilet paper is appropriate to wipe with.
The End.
Lol! I wasn't paying attention to Desmond and Eloise and they just tried to flush an entire roll of toilet paper down the toilet. I caught them right before they flushed, but they are ganging up on me!
