The dreaded 2WW and stuff...

I really hate this two week wait thing... It is literally driving me insane. I'm trying very hard not to stress about it all because I know that isn't helpful, but I am so anxious to find out! I'm going to try very hard to hold out buying a test until next Friday because that's when my good ol' red friend is due and I should be able to have a positive result by then. I hope. I seriously am trying so hard to find any sort of symptoms what-so-ever but I know it's way too early. Fingers crossed though. If this is THE month then we're in for a January baby. :)

Yesterday and last night Adam was away for work so it was just Nicole and I for most of the day. We did spend some time outside as well. Around dinner time, we realized there wasn't much in the house, so we went down to Friendly's. Afterwords, it was getting late, so I got Miranda washed and ready for bed. I managed to get pretty much all my chores done (laundry being an on-going battle) and I took Maverick out for his evening BM. The neighbors stopped by with their dog and we chatted for a while as they all played and romped around. Then it was finally time to go in and relax for a bit. I stayed up way too late since I didn't have Adam here to tell me it was bedtime. It was around midnight by the time I finally made it upstairs. The bed seemed a bit too lonely so I broke the rules and let Maverick sleep in bed with me. He loved it. Stayed still all night and never once got off the bed to make a mess. I was happy to have a snugly puppy so close all night as well. He was so comfortable that when I woke up at 8:00 he didn't even want to get out of the bed.

This morning it was hot and sunny out so I decided it would be great time to pull out all the summer outdoor toys, the hose and a bucket of soapy water and get to cleaning them off. A bunch of neighbors came out and we all helped one another clean everything up. The kids had a lot of fun, I threw a bathing suit on Miranda (one from last year which thankfully still fit) and put sunscreen on her so it didn't matter if she got soaking wet or not. I had lunch with my friend and neighbor and then had to almost immediately take off to go pick up Adam.

  1. I hope the 2 weeks speed by. Javi would tell you to plan for a summer baby. Apparently, those with summer birthdays have all the fun.
