Limbo...

Okay, so it's no secret that Adam and I are TTC again. I'm keeping no secrets from my blog readers, family or not. First of all, I'm not good at it and second, I'm a very open person as it is.

So, right now...I have no idea if I am pregnant or not. I've taken about a million pregnancy tests (...5...) since last Monday and they've all been negative. My period was due on Friday and it was a no-show. It's driving me MORE insane than my two-week wait did!! I hate limbo. Hate, hate, HATE! If I'm not, I'll be bummed but hopeful for next month. If I am, I can't tell you how happy I'd be and that I'd shout it from the rooftops. lol But...I can't do either if I do not know. I'd love to say that I know my body really well and that I'm sure I'm one or the other, but I can not. I must be the only woman in the world with this problem.

Anyway, I'm going to TRY very hard to just quit testing for a couple days. Give my body a chance to make up its mind. If I still have had no visit from my 'friend' by this Friday I will test again. If it's still negative, I think I'll go off the deep end. lol

Anyway, back to business. The weekend was fun. Lots of hanging out with friends and family. I made a couple trips to the dog park with Maverick. I go so often for a couple reasons. Number one, he's a puppy and needs the socialization really badly. Number two, he's a puppy and needs the energy outlet. lol The more exercise my dog gets, the happier everyone is. That is a big part to puppy ownership. Friday night, Nicole and I went out to dinner and a movie. We saw 'Babies' which was adorable and just as I expected it. There were a few teenagers there who were so stupid and ignorant that I wanted to scream at them. Saturday we did some shopping and running around. We went to my mom's for dinner which was delicious. Sunday, I had my dad over for breakfast. Kevin joined us too. It's always nice to spend time with family. Sunday afternoon, Adam and Kevin took Miranda fishing over at Adam's dad's place and I joined them later for dinner. We had a lot of fun there as well. After dinner we did some more fishing while Grampy-O took Miranda out in the row boat. After everyone caught a fish, we decided it might be fun to throw Maverick into the lake and see if he likes to swim. He doesn't. At all. And afterwords he was wet and stinky. Yuck. Adam gave him a bath when we got home though, luckily. And that was our weekend. Nothing special yet very meaningful to me and my family. Everyone needs a weekend like that every once in a while.

  1. The limbo would tear my nerves up, too. I hope you find out one way or another soon.
