Windy

Yesterday was a pretty blah day...hence my lack of blog post. I'm sure if I had sat down I could have whipped something up. Weather wise it was cold and windy so I was stuck inside for most of the day with the Panda, just trying to keep her occupied. I tried very hard to keep the television off and succeeded for the majority of the day. The only thing she really watched was a portion of Lady and the Tramp right before bed. She was easily distracted all day though and couldn't sit and do any one activity for more than 10 minutes or so. I spent a lot of time setting up one activity, getting her settled with it, then I'd try to get something done and she'd be done with it so it was time to clean it up and find something else. We made lunch together though: mac 'n cheese, hot dogs and broccoli all mixed together. Miranda ate at least three helpings of it! Crazy!

After nap, she was able to get outside for a little bit. I had to dig out her winter coat for her though. Then I had to run and pick up my mother at her work. Her car's been in and out of the shop for about a week now because she failed emissions. Should be all fixed now and after the new part is broken in, she can try again.

I'm very anxious for this weekend though! Since Miranda is supposed to be spending it at Grammy's house, I asked Adam if we could devote it to yard work and chores inside the house. Even though Adam and I have been living in this apartment for two years, I finally want to get our outside cleaned up and looking nice. We have some nice plans for it and I'll be sure to take lots of before and after pictures. Inside, is mainly just some deep spring cleaning and what not. Nothing major there. I'm excited to have these chores done and out of the way though. Today and tomorrow will be planning days and gathering up supplies.
