All about *last* weekend

Last weekend Adam and I decided that it was time for us to go on a date. He was dying to see the new Clash of the Titans movie so we dropped Miranda off with his mom and went out to the Chinese buffet for dinner. It was delicious, as always. Adam even had me try frog legs for the very first time. Pretty good! We moved on to the theater after we finished eating. As for the movie, I thought it was really good. The graphics were amazing and I thought the changes to the story line weren't too outrageous. Adam was not as pleased with it, but he was a big fan of the original 1981 version. I was not.

Sunday was busy! In the morning we had a breakfast to attend, support for our local volunteer firefighters. It was delicious. Miranda was still at the mother-in-law's but Adam's brother, Eric, did decide to join us. Afterwords, Adam and Eric went off to the driving range to go hit some golf balls. Nicole and I headed off to the mall because she was due for a cell phone upgrade and was very anxious to get it. I tried to find a way for Adam and I to get new phones, but  they just kept telling us that we'd need to wait until September. It made me very disappointed that things did not work out the way I wanted them to. Dinner time rolled neared so Adam and I went to go pick Miranda up and then headed over to his father's house to have dinner with him. Things ran a little late there but eventually we did get home and in bed.

  1. Javi and I are huge fans of the original Clash of the Titans. It's long been one of my all-time faves and one day when it was on, he and I sat down to watch it. He was immediately hooked. Billy went to see the remake, but we have decided to stick with the original for a long while. It's too good to mess with!

A date night sounds so glamorous!
