A search!

Not too much has happened this week. Taxes hit so we've taken care of the bills that needed taking care of. We've decided to stay in the apartment we're already in, rather than move. It's convenient here being in the middle of all our family and we're happy here, for the most part. Eventually, we'll be able to save up money to buy a house which will be nice.

On Friday, Adam and I agreed that we think it's time we get a puppy. Miranda loves dogs and is so good with them. Plus, with me being home already, I have the time to focus on training it and exercising it. We deep cleaned the whole house over the weekend in preparation of adding this new furry member. At Walmart yesterday we picked up storage items for our shoes and Miranda's puzzles. Things we wouldn't want chewed up. We plan on finding our new dog at a shelter or rescue. The cats are going to the vet on Tuesday for their yearly physical and vaccines. While I'm there, I'll see if they know of any puppies that need a good home. We've already been to the Humane Society but they turned us down because we live in an apartment. ::eye roll:: So anyway, the search continues and I'll keep you updated on how that goes.
