Summer routine
Well, it's now the middle of summer and we're busy, busy, busy. We now have a schedule we're comfortable with since Adam is settled into his job. We all get up at 8:30am, I get her up while he goes downstairs and puts on coffee and lets the dog out. I get her breakfast and what-not while he checks his e-mail. Then we switch and he plays with Miranda while Sesame Street is on (10-11) and I check my e-mail. At around 11:30 he starts to get lunch ready while I keep her occupied in the living room. We eat around noon and he wipes her up afterward while I do dishes. Then it's her nap time. Usually I try to clean for a little bit while she's napping. It usually doesn't take too long. Today I did dishes, scrubbed the kitchen floor, vacuumed, cleaned the table and tidied up her toys. Adam went and got laundry and put his away. I have to put mine and Miranda's away later. Then he usually plays his video games while I do some catching up on my message boards. Adam leaves for work at 3 and that's usually about the time that Miranda is getting up for her nap. So, I get her up and she spends a good half-hour messing up all the toys I picked up while she was napping. If it's super hot and not raining out I usually let her go outside and play in her pool. Dinner is at 5:30/6:00. Then we start her bedtime routine at 7:00. It's a great schedule. He gets Fridays and Saturdays off and they are usually super busy.
