Another doctor visit

Okay, so here's how our day went. Miranda slept WAY in this morning. I had to go get her up at 10:00! She had gone to bed at 8:00 the night before too. (Not complaining!!) Anyway, I noticed that her runny nose and cough are still around...lingering way longer than I like a virus to stick around. Called her doctor and made an appointment. She went down for her normal nap at 12:00. I had to get her up at 1:15 to make it to our 2:00 appointment. We got there early, like I always try to. She hasn't gained or lost any weight at all. Still 18lbs 11oz. The doctor and her assistant really looked her over...listening to her lungs and in her ears. She did good. She didn't have a fever. The doctor concluded that it's still a virus for now. She did prescribe her some steroids to take for 4 days to see if it helps with the cough. She seemed to think it may be some inflammation or something. She said if the coughing isn't gone by Monday then we should start the antibiotics she gave us. I didn't get that prescription filled though because I'm hesitant to do another round of antibiotics if I'm not sure she has an infection.
