Re-organization

* 24 Weeks and 6 Days *

Today was a pretty eventful day. Adam was able to stay home today because it's Martin Luther King Junior Day. I woke up at 9:30am to a nice clean house because Adam and I did a thorough cleaning yesterday. At around 10:45 we took Munchkin to the vet. She was, surprisingly, really well-behaved. She meowed a bit on the way there but she gave no hassles to us or the vet. She was quiet and very sweet tempered. The vet loved her. She got all her shots and a clean bill of health. Next week she's going back to get spayed and declawed. Poor kitty but it's for the best. She really shocked me by being so well-behaved. I was very pleased.

After that we decided that we wanted to do some organizing but we needed to run to Walmart for supplies first. So, off to Wally-World again. We bought 5 things. Two big Tupperware for the linen closet, a chest for the bedroom and a changing table/pad. I was real excited to be finally getting the changing table up in the baby room. We had stopped at Taco Bell for lunch so we sat outside on the porch and ate our tacos.

Then we brought the stuff inside. First we did the linen closet. That didn't take too long and it looks so much better. Then Adam reorganized his military closet, which also looks a lot better. On to the bedroom after that. The closet had been reorganized earlier so after he put all his gun stuff in the chest we bought we re-arranged the furniture. It is a lot more practical now. Then, we put the changing table/dresser together and slightly re-arranged the furniture in there too. I vacuumed both bedrooms and the living room. I put some stuff in the dresser too. Then he made dinner which was delicious: ribs, mashed potatoes, and veggies. Now we're watching "Failure to Launch".

Afterwords I will clean the bathroom and maybe finish putting the baby's clothes in the dresser. Well, that's about it. It was a very busy, fulfilling and exciting day. Hurray for days like this.
