Hey! Remember me?

Hi blog! Are you still alive? Is your heart still beating? I know I've been neglecting you a lot lately and it's nobody's fault but my own. I've had plenty that I could write about too I just haven't been writing. I miss writing too! I don't know what's up with the funk I've been in. Hopefully I find a way to kick it soon. So it's been almost three months since I last blogged. Not a terrible lot has changed but life does go on.

As you all know April is our big birthday month! Miranda turned six years old on April 4th and Elliott turned two on April 15th. I know everyone says it but it still blows my mind that they have grown up so fast! In a few months she'll be a first grader and in school full time! How is this possible? They had their party on the 13th and it went really well. It was laid back which was perfect! I wasn't stressed and was really able to enjoy everyone's company and just bask in the love for my children. They got some amazing gifts and it was just a wonderful, happy day. 

Today they had their yearly physicals. That also went very well. Elliott was his typical terror self. No bad reports of anything, everyone's happy and healthy and exceeding all expectations. Even the dog had his check up last Friday. Hurray!

Other than that, there isn't to much going on. Been doing lots of cleaning, and lots of yard work. Elliott is a very typical two year old boy, very rough and tumble and always dirty or getting into something. Miranda is doing amazing with school and is generally well behaved.
