NaBloPoMo!

I'm hoping to participate in NaBloPoMo this month. I always strive for it, but never succeed. The idea is to post every day for a month. I'm not going to include weekends, since they seem to always be super hectic. So, if I post on a weekend, it's an added bonus but not a requirement. They post writing prompts everyday since every month has a new theme. The theme for October is "Between". So, when I'm out of things to write about, hopefully, I can use the daily prompt and get something written at least.

Today's prompt is "What is something you always pack on a trip?"

I don't go on very many trips. When Adam was in the Marine Corps and we lived in South Carolina, our trips meant driving back to CT to visit family. The last time I went on a legitimate 'vacation' I was three years old. My parents took me and my brothers to Disney World. I don't remember a bit of it. 

Anyway, something I always pack when I know I'll be staying somewhere for at least one night, would be my journal. I enjoy taking it places and writing in it at night before I go to bed. Especially if I'm anywhere that isn't my own bed. 

I was going to answer this with my toothbrush, but I thought that would be an obvious.
