Last week sometime I nursed Elliott to sleep and since I had to use the bathroom I asked Adam to put him in the swing for me. Elliott was sound asleep so Adam just laid him in the swing without turning it on. While I was upstairs I suddenly heard Elliott screaming his head off. I tried to yell down and ask Adam what had happened but he couldn't hear me. By the time I got back downstairs Adam had managed to get him calmed down. I was finally able to ask what had happened.
He told me Elliott fell out of the swing.
Say what?
We don't really have an exact idea of how he did but I'm sure it wouldn't have happened if Adam had buckled him in. Lesson learned.
He was absolutely fine. No injuries, not even a bump or a bruise. Thank goodness!
Although, in light of this situation, we may or may not be retiring the swing from our house. I'm a little hesitant to put him in there anymore.
