Eat, Sleep, Poop

At two months old, there really isn't much that Elliott does besides eat, sleep and poop. However, he has been awesome at these three things lately.

He's been a little piggy pig at the boob. I think he might be going through yet another growth spurt. I really think my little man needs to stop growing. He's getting way to big way to quickly! Today I think he was on the breast every hour or so. It was hot and sticky and not very fun, but we got through it.

Or, another possibility of why he's eating so frequently during the day is because he has been sleeping a lot at night! If  he wakes up at night, it's only once to eat and then right back to sleep. Recently he slept for 9 hours straight at night and then a couple nights later he slept for 11 hours straight. It's heavenly. Miranda started sleeping through the night at 6 weeks old which happened to coincide with the time that we switched her over to formula. I thought maybe the formula was the reason for her sleeping so much better. Elliott started giving me at least a 5-6 hour stretch at 8 weeks. I wonder if maybe I just make good sleepers? I know a lot of moms are swearing at me but I don't know what to tell you! I fully expected for Elliott to be a cruddy sleeper. I thought that because Miranda was so awesome that he was going to be the complete opposite. So far he's proving me wrong. We will see how long this habit lasts though, he might just be teasing me for all I know.

And last but not least, pooping. He is an epic pooper. Today for example, he had three major blowouts. I don't think any diaper known to man would hold these poops. He likes to hold it for a few days and then just let it all go. It's "fun". Auntie Nicole was lucky enough to get the first two and I took the last one. That was the best because we were out shopping at Once Upon a Child. Luckily, we were at Once Upon a Child so when I discovered that all I had in my bag for an extra outfit was something long-sleeved and with a hood, I was able to get him something cooler for cheap.

The scary part was that the outfit I bought was sized 3-6 months and it already fits him. *tear* His 0-3 month clothes still fit him however so I'm not ready to make the switch yet. I'm hoping I can get this next month in them so at least he's in the right size for his age. We will see though. He's already having to move up to size 2 diapers. My little chunker!
