Two Weeks Old

These two weeks have absolutely flown by! We've been taking things pretty easy around here. For the most part I'm content to just stay home and take care of my children or clean the house. I have ventured out to stores a couple times and I visit with friends and family. We've also been spending as much time as we can playing outside when the weather allows.



Yesterday Elliott had his two-week check up. He weighs 6lbs even and is 20.25inches long. Other than still being jaundiced he's looking good. One of his Newborn Screening Tests did come back abnormal and he's getting Vitamin C for one week before being re-checked. The pediatrician told us not to be concerned at all and his levels should be normal after his Vitamin C therapy. We go in on Tuesday for that re-check. She tried to get us to go to the lab again to check his bilirubin levels but since we'd be going on Tuesday anyway and we know he's otherwise healthy, eating & pooping fine and not to yellow we declined to go. I just couldn't justify going again when I know he's perfectly fine. The pediatrician was fine with that since she knew we were making an informed decision.
