Shopping, Questions and a Bug Scare

(Friday the Thirteenth!)

Miranda, Nicole and I spent the last two days shopping. The three of us are often going shopping, but this time it was back - to - back, EXTREME shopping! Both days we spent EIGHT full hours at the stores. Yikes! That's a ton of shopping, even for us. I ended up buying myself some new clothes which is always refreshing. Usually I'm buying Miranda clothes but I just couldn't bring myself to buy her MORE clothes. She has closets and drawers FULL of them. I also got a new cell phone cover, a pair of school sneakers for Miranda (Stride Rites for $12!!!) and a new toy for Maverick. Nothing too extreme, especially after 16 hours of walking around! I think for now we are shopped out!

This morning after Adam's alarm went off (5AM) I heard Miranda start screaming like she was hurt or scared. So of course, I ran into her room to find out what was wrong. She was pointing at her bed and yelling something about a bug. I scooped her up in my arms and calmed her down. She had been spooked by a bug, whether it was real or imagined I'm not sure. Adam came in and searched her bed but there wasn't a bug to be found. I made sure to not to tell her she was wrong though. Adam and I got her back into bed, nice and comfy, told her she was safe and she went back to sleep.
