Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was Miranda's actual birthday but we didn't do much more than say Happy Birthday to her since she had her party the day before. In the morning before she woke up, we spent cleaning the house up and (since we're procrastinators) Adam ran out to get Miranda's Easter surprises. We had all the eggs and basket ready before she came down the stairs so it all worked out okay. She looked so beautiful in her Easter dress and she loved going around the yard looking for eggs. We went over to my mother's for a little while where she looked for more eggs and we dyed some hard-boiled eggs. My mom even got an Easter present for me, a very pretty silver cross. From there we went to my mother-in-laws for her Easter festivities of ham and good company. We watched the second Alvin and the Chipmunks movie which was actually pretty cute. My mom had made short ribs for us though, so we had to go back to her house to eat more food. I was so full by the end of the day, it was ridiculous. It was so nice to sit on the couch and watch the movie, Valkyrie, at the end of the day.
