Miranda update

Miranda is 3 weeks and 6 days old.

Miranda is just an amazing baby. She's very calm and she hardly ever cries. It's been a bit of an adjustment for me to be a Mommy but now I can't imagine my life any other way. We've had lots of visitors, a few hard times but so many more good times. Miranda is starting to smile a lot at me especially in the morning. Nights are still a bit of a trial but they seem to be getting better. Most nights she only wakes up twice. She seems so big to me now. I think she might be close to 8lbs now!

A week ago she was at the doctors office and she weight 6lbs 15oz and was 18.5" long. She is slowly becoming more alert and awake during the day. Although today she's been very sleepy again which will probably mean a rough night for me. That's okay though. I wish Adam could/would help out with her more but I do understand that he works and needs his sleep so I don't bother him at night. I can already tell she's attached to her daddy and me. I love her so much and I would do anything for her. I feel like she's the band-aid over the hole in my heart where Quinne should be. The hole will always be there but Miranda definitely helps. I can't wait until she's older and I can tell her about her big sister.
