Sick & tired

I have a cold or very nasty allergies. I've been using my nebulizer almost constantly, it's pretty bad. I feel better today than I did yesterday which is good. This weekend was okay. Friday night we had to puppy sit for Nicole's dogs. That was a lot of work, but they weren't too bad. Saturday morning, I had to work for a couple hours. It wasn't too bad. I volunteered to do a lot of dishes, which for me was way better than being out serving customers. After work, I came home and took a nap while Miranda napped. I think my body knew I was coming down with something. After that though, we went to a BBQ being hosted by Adam's brother's girlfriend's parents. lol (Confused yet?) That was fun until their dog bit Miranda in the butt and left some pretty nasty bruises. I'm not mad but I certainly won't go back there unless that dog is locked up somewhere. I'm not putting my child in danger again. The dog was just acting defensively, I know, but I won't allow it to happen again. I'm so glad Maverick isn't anything like that. He's SUCH a friendly, happy dog and I am SO thankful for that! He sniffed Miranda up and down when she got home and gave kisses. He loves his kid and is so protective of her. I would hate to see what he would have done to that dog if Mav had come with us.

Sunday, Adam went to his mother's house in the morning to help close up their pool. When he got back we ran out to do some errands. We needed to put gas in the car and pick up food for the snake and dog. We're trying Maverick on a different food because he wasn't eating his other food very well. He loves his new food so far which is a very good thing. Scarlett really liked her furry meal too.

After that, we headed off to my brother's house to watch football and hang out with friends. That was a lot of fun and we had some yummy taco dip. After the Patriot's game was over we then headed over to Adam's dad's house for our Sunday dinner. I guess next week they're heading up to Pulaski to go salmon fishing. Adam, unfortunately, has to sit this trip out but there's always other opportunities.

Today calls for some chores, cleaning and resting. Hopefully Adam will bring me home some soup or something.
